Long time no blog. My fault im afraid. i have been deliberately swamped.

first off, Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! (if i haven't wished you that yet) Happy valentines day too, if i haven't wished you that either....

Both are significant events on my calendar. Thankfully for valentines day i didn't sink into the routine abject depression that was becoming an annual tradition. I celebrated it with my significant other! though we couldn't meet, what we managed to settle for still meant the world to me. Thank you dear.

As for the Chinese New Year celebrations, most unfortunately, the routine family argument managed to manifest itself again, 10 years and counting. To cut a long and tragic story short, this year the score stands as this: our family never had a full reunion dinner, two glasses were smashed on the floor in anger and i was disowned (tentative arrangement). Ah *Well*, CNY has never been a happy time for me so its no big deal. I just wish that i wouldn't have to predict these routine family brawls with such accuracy.

The pros loom closer and closer. With two weeks of M3 left, the mad rush to mug and mug and mug has started - today (first day of the new year) i saw at least 5 m3s mugging outside the library. As a chao mugger myself, i shall count myself amongst the guilty and apologize for spoiling the market. heh.

Todays firing session was pretty interesting!

The HO and work burn-out team really struck a cord in everybody. Now we have hard figures to back up statements like 75% of house officers are burnt out or at risk of burning out....

we can only hope that the data is put to good use. :)
