This is going to be my 2nd last Medicamp as a medical student... time has flown. Its quite fun to watch the "freshies" make complete and utter idiots in themselves in full knowledge that in a mere few years, they'll be excessively aged and battle weary just like *the rest of us.*

whats university life if it isn't tinged with some madness? help save the medical student from his studious fate (or at least retard its progression.) downstaging anyone?

ahh after a hiatus from blogging (thanks jos for kicking me out of my slumber) i'll be posting more photos over the next few days.

life has been crazy! and recently, its been a little extra and over the top - what with psychiatry exams and dear Brenda back from the states. Theres only 2 more weeks to go so im really going to treasure the time i spend with her. time has literally flown away since she got back...

oh and before i forget: i got a bloody depressed patient for the IMH exam. why not mania? or schizophrenia? no, i have to get a bloody somatising depressive patient who refuses to admit he has had a low mood. why!

Its no fun to clerk a patient with the clock ticking when he has latency of speech and poverty of ideas...

Key feature problems are toughies...

9 year old girl presents with a 3 day duration of malaise, increasing lethagy, fever (38 degrees), tachypnea 40/min, lungs clear, abd soft non tender. No other history present. Differentials?
